Cricket is something that is very close to my heart, I grew fond of it when I started to play with my friends in our society. I never miss a match when the Indian team is playing. The joy of seeing your favourite team win is something that only a true fan can understand.

But I wasn't always a big fan of the sport until I saw Virat Kohli play. His passion for the game, his excellent batting judgement and the energy he brings when he's on field is amazing! Under his captainship the Indian Under-19 cricket team won the World Cup in 2008 and that marked as an important highlight of his career.

He is one of the finest batsmen of our country and a remarkable athlete. His aggression on the field, positive attitude and confidence are the qualities that attract me the most. He has consistently performed and produced one of the most memorable moments in cricket by helping Indian team to win many matches. He is rated one of the best batsman in the world. He inspires me to strive for my dreams, to be persistent and overcome all the obstacles in my path.

He's the only athlete who I look upto. His struggle and his success story makes him very unique. To me he's not only as a sportsman but an inspiring personality, a man of action, a man who has set an example of how anyone can achieve their goals through sheer will power and persistence. His journey is amazing and truly inspirational for many youngsters.
